Rings
Our rings follow North American sizes. Here is what they correspond to:
| Size | Inside diameter | Finger circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm |
| 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm |
| 8 | 18.1 mm | 57.0 mm |
| 9 | 18.9 mm | 59.5 mm |
| 11 | 20.6 mm | 64.6 mm |
Open rings adjust by a few millimetres; they generally fit sizes 6 to 8.
Measuring your finger at home
- Cut a piece of string or a strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger, where the ring will sit. It should pass over the knuckle without forcing.
- Mark where the string meets, then measure the length with a ruler: that is your finger circumference in millimetres.
- Compare with the "Finger circumference" column. Between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Tips: measure at the end of the day (fingers swell a little) and never when it is very cold. If you already have a ring that fits, measure its inside diameter with a ruler and compare with the first column.
Necklaces
The length is listed on each product page. As a reference:
| Length | Where it sits |
|---|---|
| 35 to 40 cm | Choker, at the base of the neck |
| 40 to 45 cm | Just below the collarbone, the most common length for a pendant |
| 45 to 50 cm | A little above the chest, great for layering |
| 50 to 60 cm | On the chest, for larger pendants |
Most of our necklaces have an extension chain of a few centimetres to adjust.
Bracelets
Measure your wrist with the same method as for the finger, just below the wrist bone. Add 1 to 2 cm for a snug bracelet, 2 to 3 cm for one that moves freely. The length of each bracelet is listed on its page, extension included when there is one.
